[ He doesn't sound convinced. Also, he visibly seems to lose some tension as he starts shooting arrows. Violence is so calming. ]

Anyway, I think it'll be rough regardless.

[Jason will immediately vouch to violence being the most calming thing.]

Sure, but not as rough as getting attached to people here on top of having a hostage. This is probably going to be a competition for the most part.

[Why does he continue to act like he doesn't have feelings?]

If they’re stupid maybe. If we’re here for entertainment, I don’t know if nuking everyone immediately is going to be a great idea.

[ The string catches against his finger, and he jerks back. ]

[ Whips around at points at him. ]

Concerned?

[unrecked]

[Slaps his hand idk if he is even close enough.]

No. Why are you so weird?

[shaft]

Blame it on my weird upbringing.

[ He looks a little put out. ]

[unrecked]

[Idiot.]

You good? [Your hand.] Got a pal who does archery.

[shaft]

I'm fine. [ smiles brightly ] Thanks for asking.

[Looks at him.]

[shaft]

Maybe I'm just a strange person.

Actually, I get the impression you're the person I have to keep my eye on the most.

[He curls his fingers at Claude.]

I'm flattered?

[ Hm!

But he will hand over the bow and quiver, curious to see how Jason does. ]

[unrecked]

[He let’s Claude keep the quiver, only taking an arrow out of it, and he takes the bow with the grace of someone familiar with it.

The arrow gets nocked, and though there is the natural tension of pulling the bowstring back, Jason has enough strength in his arms and chest to do it rather easily. For a guy with a hair-trigger temper and guns, he’s surprisingly steady and patient with the aim.

When he fires, he doesn’t do it perfectly, but he’s not too bad.]

[shaft]

You're going to give me a run for my money.

[ he's feeling competitive ]

You like to know your way around every weapon?

[unrecked]

[He hands the bow back to Claude.]

Like I said: I have a pal who is into archery. Also, it comes with the job.

[shaft]

[ He takes it back! Firing off a few quick arrows. ]

Right. To clean up the streets. I'll be careful not to make an enemy out of you.
