[ He looks a little put out. ]

[Looks at him.]

Actually, I get the impression you're the person I have to keep my eye on the most.

[He curls his fingers at Claude.]

I'm flattered?

[ Hm!

But he will hand over the bow and quiver, curious to see how Jason does. ]

[He let’s Claude keep the quiver, only taking an arrow out of it, and he takes the bow with the grace of someone familiar with it.

The arrow gets nocked, and though there is the natural tension of pulling the bowstring back, Jason has enough strength in his arms and chest to do it rather easily. For a guy with a hair-trigger temper and guns, he’s surprisingly steady and patient with the aim.

When he fires, he doesn’t do it perfectly, but he’s not too bad.]

[ he's feeling competitive ]

[He hands the bow back to Claude.]

Like I said: I have a pal who is into archery. Also, it comes with the job.

[ He takes it back! Firing off a few quick arrows. ]

Right. To clean up the streets. I'll be careful not to make an enemy out of you.

"Archerous"... [ Funny. ] It's pretty ingrained in the culture I come from. Everyone learns archery and wyvern riding.

We like to make warriors right from childhood.

Me guess is that your logic is something like, "life is terrible, these kids should know how to defend themselves before it crushes them underfoot."

[He laughs very suddenly in actual amusement.]

Wow. That's your impression of me? It's like you zoned out when we were debating the last time. Your grueling bad boy goggles are on too tight.

Actually, I think kids should get to be kids in a safe and loving environment.
