anyway, claude is stumbling onto the ground since jason is yoinking him out like turnip. he brushes some of the dirt out of his face and looks around. ]

This is the cemetery...? Were you- did you wake up last night?

[He pretty much hauls Claude up onto his feet. He doesn't let go of him, though.]

Were you awake? Why the hell are you in the ground? Start talking. Cloud is dead.

[ Firstly, he hacks up some dirt that he accidentally swallowed. Gross. ]

Cloud—? Didn't he act tough about getting healed yesterday? [ IDIOT ] I- damn it, there's dirt everywhere.

[ pats himself down there's so much dirt ]

[He slaps Claude's back when Claude coughs because Claude fucking deserves it.]

[He grabs the front of Claude's clothes, but doesn't raise his other hand.]

[ Continues to dust off his clothes. ]

I was awake for only a second before something knocked me out. I didn't see or hear anything. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in a coffin.

[He wavers, but doesn't let go at first, and then finally does.]

I don't know about you, but breaking out of coffins buried in the ground isn't exactly something soldiers learn to do in the army.
