[ Where is Rupert, Claude is walking in his direction with concern. ]

[here he is in the void! presumably by now he has gotten a change of clothes and washed all the blood off; the wound on his arm and back are hidden by what he's wearing now, but he still has a patch of gauze pressed over his left eye socket. he turns claude's way as he notices him out of the corner of his other eye.]

...Hey.

I'm glad you got patched up. Where are you staying tonight?

[ He frowns, looking briefly at his injured eye. ]

[agleam]

...Honestly, I haven't even thought about it yet. Maybe the new place with all the clothes?

[shaft]

I'd recommend getting some rest in your room with a friend.

[agleam]

[unfortunately it's too late help]

...I'll think about it. I just - have a lot to think about. [a beat.] Not that I'm telling you to leave. That's not what I meant.

[ blinks ]

[after another moment, he shakes his head.]

Honestly, I could use an excuse to not have to think about it for just a little more.

[the laugh he gives is humorless, but it's there.]

Mikazuki and Tsuru are dating.

It's not very proper for nobles to be promiscuous. But usually courtship is a public affair.

So I guess... dating without a proper courtship seems like something to keep on the downlow?

It depends on how modern you are? For the nobles, a relationship is a big deal. You should go into it with some intention of marriage.
