The world I live in is deeply divided by borders. There's been war and hatred for as long as I can remember.
I just want to change that. Where the place of your birth doesn't determine who you hate, or who you love, or who you can be. It just seems so foolish to limit ourselves by lines drawn across a map.

you're kind of a weird guy. but far be it from me to judge someone who likes running himself ragged.

do you think someone bought your injuries away?

In any case, I hope you're taking it easy. Murders and waking up in a strange place aside.

All these advances in technology, just to create more and more dangerous weapons.

war is like that. and where i come from, all we know is war.

You're not wrong about that. Is there an end in sight?

[oh no this conversation took a turn for the SERIOUS]

So if you were given the power to have a wish granted...
no subject
. . . and i don't really know what, exactly, i'd wish for. and i can't say i'd want to rely on some nebulous wish to solve all of my problems, anyway.

But sometimes I like to imagine what kind of world I'd make with a world-changing wish. It helps me focus what to work toward.

[that seems pretty deep, and. . . well. she can't help but pry]
what kind of world would you make?

[what does she say to that? it sounds nice, but. . . even if she's trying to be a better person, she's still a cynic]
that sounds like something only a wish could grant in the first place.
no subject
If I can achieve even a little bit of that before I die, I think I'd be satisfied. But I like to set big goals so I never run out of work, y'know?
