How did you all manage to escape this place?

By repairing it, essentially. Giving it more color and balancing it, to offset the negative effects of something called refraction.

We are able to, yes. 'Tis possible to visit each other in this way.

... You don't hate the sight of it?

I do not. I disliked being trapped here, but... I did not find it to be wholly terrible, and there are areas of it which hold fonder memories.

...there are others I care less for, but on the whole, I am not put off from visiting it.

I'm much the same. I had fond memories of the school as well, though we destroyed our world when we left.

On purpose. It had a life of its own and we needed to make sure that it didn't suck anyone else back for round two.

...I see. I suppose anyone ought to have done the same, in that case, although I suppose other places insisting upon round two was not quite avoidable.
