Molly is different too, but he feels exactly the same.

Maybe this Mollymauk and the one at Wiwaldi were taken from similar points in their timeline, rather than Dimitri's case where the two versions were pulled from totally different points in time.

Think of it like the life cycle of a butterfly. For Mollymauk, it's as if two identical caterpillars were taken to be observed as they each grew into adult butterflies; they started at the same developmental stage, experienced similar events at similar times, and ended in similar fundamental states despite the smaller details of their experiences differing.

For Dimitri, it's like observing a single caterpillar when it's still in its larval stage, and again when it's already spent some time as a butterfly. The latter example has already undergone fundamental changes that would affect how it would react to a given situation, especially when compared to its earlier, less experienced stage of life.
