Ha ha ha, my space has a bit less to see than others. But you are welcome whenever you like.
[mikazuki's room is a very typical japanese-style room with tatami mats and shoji screens! in fact, it may be a bit difficult to place as a bedroom at first glance as the main pieces are a tea ceremony set-up, some seat cushions, and the way that the opposite wall seems to open up to reveal the upper half of the crescent moon. there is the illusion of the room extending out onto the engawa, so that you can have a seat to admire the grand view even though it looks like the world simply drops off beneath your feet.
off to the side there is a now-empty sword stand, and the primary decor consists artfully arranged ikebana pieces. a desk sits in the corner with all the regular amenities, and a one of the shoji doors will part to reveal a closet. inside there is his selection of clothes as well as a rolled up futon.
the aura of the room is simple, but everything is of the highest quality. it is truly just artistic minimalism and a moon.]
[mikazuki inclines his head toward the moon and laughs faintly]
I prefer beautiful scenes, though the cover of night comes most reliably of all.
[ . . . ]
'Mikazuki' does mean 'crescent moon' - as I am named after the marks upon my blade... but seeing this landscape makes me wonder if I appear a bit self-involved.
Only lightly - though tea tastes best when made with care. Perhaps I am merely missing having it made for me.
[he'll be honest,
and he will similarly take a seat]
Japanese architecture? Ha ha, should we have the ability to cross worlds again after this, you are welcome to come visit. The Citadel holds many views like this, but it is overall... comfortable.
I know too little about human bodies to excel in such a task. [he'll say it] Though I have been learning more since being granted this form.
Though... the woman I belonged to for a time was the wife of a warlord, a strategist and a revolutionary in her own right. Yet she too possessed a love for the arts and refinement, as my other owners did.

Well, if you're inviting me, it would be rude to say no.
[ Hey, is that a wholeass moon in your room. ]

Do you prefer the night?

I knew another person who's name meant "moon"... They liked to draw moons on everything too.
It was definitely being self-involved in that case, but I won't speak for you.

[laughing at his own joke, but he will turn back to claude]
At the very least, I think it is a room pleasing to the eyes. I desire little else... aside from perhaps the necessities to prepare my tea.

[ He will take a seat on one of the floor cushions, looking around. ]
I've never seen architecture like this. It's beautiful in its simplicity.

[ He's leaning back on his palms, relaxed. ]
Were you a royal sword, then?

[he's just an old guy....]
But I suppose you could say that I spent more time in the courts than on the battlefield, yes.

Are you a courtesan?

We have been granted life, though albeit on someone else's terms.

[ No one asks to be born. ]
So, you just run missions? You couldn't just go off and do whatever you want?
no subject
Well, we aren't meant to.

I like your attitude.

I could ask you similarly. What might any one human pursue for themselves? Love? Fame? Longevity?
Or are your desires more concrete? Tangible?

Might you possess any strong inclinations toward anything? Or perhaps, everything?

I think the most natural thing would be to return to that. But it's sort of a lifelong commitment...
