[ Is it really entertaining to just control people?
She pauses, and for a moment she seems like she doesn't have any more to add to the conversation until she finally parts her lips: ] I don't understand what would be entertaining about forcing people into these situations. It's not a game....
[ She breathes out a sigh. ]
I'm sorry. I feel like I'm just shoving all of my initial concerns onto you right off the bat.
week 0, saturday, courtyard
I wonder what this is supposed to mean.

There are some familiar faces... a friend of mine suggested that they may be hostages themselves, but a part of me doubts that.
At least I'd really like to hope that's not the case.

In any case, Claude's expression flatlines slightly. ]
That seems a little over the top. Why have additional hostages? One per person should be leverage enough.

Do you think it's only one... ?
no subject
also... marie... your thruple ]
I... suppose it could be more. I haven't polled everyone here.

I'd like to hope that there's only one.
... And, if I might ask, is your person someone that you met from wherever you were previously?

It's a little complicated for me. Is that the case for you, then?
no subject
In a sense that I would do anything to ensure the safety of this person, I am not afraid of admitting that.
no subject
We've all been through this before, but so extra measures are needed to make sure we cooperate.
no subject
Do they really have to do this for us to cooperate? [ A brief pause. ] So it... won't be like last time... you think --
Where I was last, the powers we were given would force those who killed to kill. I just assumed...
[ It would be similar.
Not that it's any better but like goddamn! ]
no subject
There was something like that where I was, but also people who killed of their own volition because of our circumstances.
I guess this is just the most cruel, and therefore the most entertaining option.

Even after having gone through it once, the fact remains that it's all so... nonsensical. To take joy out of people's suffering?
At the school, the pain and suffering was an accidental side effect to the game we were in. But here it feels like the end goal.

With the bear?
[ WERE ALL YOU BITCHES WITH THE GAY BEAR????? ]

It's the most I know of this, um, school [ questionable ] you were in.
no subject
... Have you ever been to a school?
no subject
[ Haha. ]
If I had my uniform, I think it'd be safe to say some of you would have a hard time believing I'm twenty-one.
